Allegations of UNITEGA to the new rules of SANDACH – CazaWonke – Hunting and Safaris, your daily hunting.

Alegaciones de UNITEGA a la nueva normativa de SANDACH - CazaWonke - Caza y Safaris, tu diario de caza.

The Union of Tecores of Galicia has made allegations to the Draft Royal Decree on the rules for control of animal by-products not intended for human consumption and for animal health (SANDACH), in practice hunting of big game.

UNITEGA has advised the Ministry of the possible invasion of competences by the State of the autonomous regions, which are responsible in the field of hunting.

It has also been criticized that you want to pass all of the costs of the implementation of this regulation over the sector, hunting, when it has nothing to do with the issues you want to deal with, as it is a topic of livestock. And it has been urged that the Administrations are concerned to cover the costs of the proposed measures, the channels of financing that apply to you. Because of not doing so, the direct consequence will be the decrease of the hunting pressures on the species of big game, by the inability of many societies of hunters to assume these costs as high. This will result in an exponential increase of the crop damage and a worsening of the problem that you want to address with the new regulations about SANDACH.

In the allegations it has been requested that we note in addition, that the companies that are currently specialized in the collection of this type of by-products, not be able to absorb the seasonal demand that will be created from the evening to the morning sector, in the hunting of all the Spanish State. Given that by-products are only generated during a few months of the year (hunting season). What do you spend the pick-up truck of by-products of those companies during the months in which you do not practice hunting? You can’t ignore the fact that it is specialized vehicles that only can be dedicated to this purpose, that will force you to be unemployed for all those months (in standby), and to pass that cost on the months of effective work.

On the other hand, it has been claimed that the deposit of food from by-products of hunting more for species of necrophagous is linked solely and exclusively to the dumps. Disappearing of this Royal Decree, any mention of the protection areas for birds (LICs), as this will, very likely, future constraints to hunting (even to its prohibition in the Sci), achieving the opposite effect to what is intended with this regulation.
