Are expected to 1,500 hunters in the demonstration this Saturday in Guadalajara – CazaWonke – Hunting and Safaris, your daily hunting.

Se esperan 1.500 cazadores en la manifestación de este sábado en Guadalajara - CazaWonke - Caza y Safaris, tu diario de caza.

The demonstration has been called by ATICA (Association of Owners of Hunting grounds in Guadalajara), and will start at 11,45 hours in front of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and the Environment, in the Avenida del Ejército, 10. Organizers estimated the participation of about 1,500 hunters.

After going up the street, the hunters, which are also supported by associations of fishermen, read a manifesto (see the bottom of the news) in Concord.

The protesters will claim for the “severe damage” they cause to the sector of hunting, fishing and rural development of the province, the “resolutions arbitrary” of the two technicians of the Hunting Section of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, David.S. and Susana. A., by “imposing prohibitions that are not legislated”, and demand their cessation. “Prohibit the release of rabbits in areas where they are almost extinct and whose resettlement is absolutely necessary for the ecosystem. Prohibited on the new plans of hunting the loose to hunt immediate partridges, pigeons, pheasants or quail”, they say in the manifesto.

Accuse two technicians of the Board, with the consent of the provincial director, of impose in Guadalajara “prohibitions that are not legislated”.

According to Javier García, the president of ATTICA, have been held for more than five years denouncing this situation in the Tips of Hunting, without which the political officer, the provincial director of Agriculture, Santos Lopez, a Bartender, has taken steps against what they consider an “injustice” that “he consents”.

From ATTICA, the association that brings together approximately five hundred lodges in the province, have been deemed “incompetent” to these technicians by adopting “unjust measures imposed on their whim” in any of the last resolutions of the management plans for hunting. Garcia also accused these two technicians, and the director of Agriculture of “coddling”, and “delay” without reasons, the authorizations for the control of damage of the hunting species in the crops.

“Hunting and fishing is adjacent to the rural world and we’re not going to allow that to be stepped on in the halls of our rights and to our province”, they say from ATTICA.

Manifesto of hunting and fishing by the rural world

“The hunters of Guadalajara we denounce the resolutions arbitrary of the two technicians of the Hunting Section in the Provincial department of Agriculture of Guadalajara, David S. and Susan A., who do serious harm to the entire sector hunting and the development of rural areas of this province. Impose prohibitions that are not legislated and do so in a discriminatory manner, only to the province of Guadalajara, when the legislation to apply is the same for all of Castilla-La Mancha.

We have more than five years denouncing this situation in the Tips of Hunting, without the responsible political shift, now the provincial director of Agriculture, Santos López Tabernero, take action against this injustice that we understand that, therefore, consent.

Our complaint follows just these two technicians of the Section of Hunting, the cessation of which in the section of hunting and fishing demand, not the rest of the working staff, or civil service of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture in Guadalajara.

As an example of the actions of these technicians are incompetent, just look at some of the unfair measures that impose your whim on any of the latest resolutions of the management plans for hunting.

We removed in the technical plans authorized species, such as woodcock, or we reduce the quota of other species to their free interpretation of the law, as the fact of forbidding the hunting of the mallard because they say that can be confused with a protected species.

Delay without reasons, the authorizations for the damage control game species in crops.

Prohibit the release of rabbits in areas where they are almost extinct and whose repopulation is a total mind-necessary for the ecosystem. Prohibited in the new plans of hunting the loose to hunt immediate partridges, pigeons, pheasants or quail.

They tell us that we need the authorization of the personnel of this Administration to install water fountains or bird feeders in our bounded. Chase reserves, intensive, thereby limiting without any sense of the number of hunters and dogs, and forcing to communicate the loose against the legislation that the flexibility for this type of bounded.

And, well, a long etcetera, because the best thing is to ban, ban and ban, dictating resolutions that are not listed on any policy and even that are contrary to the law and this is called trespass, so we’re looking to report to the courts.

The world of fishing joins our mobilisation because they also suffer from a similar situation, with another technician, Ana Ballester. In all Guadalajara are prohibited from the removal of trout with quota and size regulation. Marked exceptions particular to the opening and closing of the season in Guadalajara, limit your craving the sacrifice or not of cyprinids, put a thousand hit for the renewal of plans of fishing, and another long etcetera.

With all of this are wiping out hunting and fishing in the province of Guadalajara, where it is recorded a remarkable decrease in the number of hunting licenses and fishing, accentuated in the last few years, which is leading to a loss of direct and indirect jobs that are critical to the livelihoods of our peoples.

And this not only affects hunting and fishing, which are activities that are fully legal and regulated, but that affects the whole of the rural world especially threatened in Guadalajara by depopulation, where the activity of hunters and anglers represent a remarkable source of wealth and environmental conservation fully linked to the focus of sustainable tourism.

Shut farms hunting, close fish farms, they are commanded to arrest guards coto, close bars that operated licenses, and there is a decline in economic activity in hotels, restaurants, gas stations, veterinarians, specialized shops… This may be the last straw to a province dying in its territory uninhabited.

For all this, the hunters and fishermen of Guadalajara we say today well high that hunting and fishing is adjacent to the rural world and that we are not going to allow that to be stepped on in the halls of our rights and our”.
