The deputy spokesman of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Courts, regional, Francisco Núñez, has charged today to García-Page “to be public enemy number one in the field, because of the damage that is already causing farmers and ranchers, are added now different drafts that seek to repeal the legislation in 2015 that regulates the activity of hunting in Castilla-La Mancha, and that was passed by achieving a high consensus between the sectors involved”.
This has pronounced Francisco Núñez, during his intervention at the Plenary meeting of the Courts regional, within the General Debate on the cinegetic activity in Castilla-La Mancha.
The popular have been presented, at this point in the plenary session, a resolution urging the regional Government to defend, since all the institutions of castilla-la mancha, the cinegetic activity as an activity of high value commercial, sports, recreational, leisure, social and culture in Castilla-La Mancha.
Also, the popular urge in their resolution to the regional government to not approve any amendment of the Hunting Act in force without the consensus of the industry.
During his intervention at the Plenary meeting of the Courts regional, Núñez recalled that Castilla-La Mancha is a region that is predominantly rural, with traditions totally united to our population, as it is the hunting; one of the main engines of development of the rural environment, which generates about 6,500 direct jobs, and tens of thousands of journals that contribute to the economic revitalization of the region.
“Hunting fixed population in our territory, generates economic activity, social, touristic, and is fully compatible with the respect for the environment, in addition to mobilizing every weekend to more than 180,000 people who come out to enjoy the hunting,” said Nunez.
For this reason, the spokesperson for popular has required a Page that is set between the position advocated by the PP in defense of the hunt, or we Can “very far away from the society of castilla-la mancha”.
Therefore, Francisco Núñez has asked Page to stop “being obsessed with abusing the field, and to defend the hunting; high-value commercial, sports, recreational, social and cultural development in Castilla-La Mancha and that is a commitment not to approve any modification of the current hunting law without the majority consensus of the sector,” he concluded.
