The Spanish Association of Rehalas Spanish Regional (ARRECAL) regrets that the Junta of Extremadura has approved a new regulation of the de-worming of dogs in hunting without even having consulted the sector.
In particular, the Extremadura Health Service has approved a resolution that establishes the form and the periodicity of the treatment in front of ténidos of the dogs of the autonomous community, which in the case of hunting dogs is set in a deworming every eight weeks. For ARRECAL the logical thing to do would have been to agree, or at least consult, the measure with the sector.
ARRECAL has commissioned technical reports and scientists on this matter at the prestigious university services with the aim of developing measures that are able to give appropriate responses and realistic. So, ARRECAL is opposed to the use of products that create a high concentration of chemicals in the body of the dogs, causing them to by administration repeated serious health problems (damage to the organs and constant loss of capacities), being abused by both your agency.
In spite of all we can not lose sight of that Extremadura is a community more rural and livestock that the vast majority of the Spanish communities. In any case, the data provided by the Junta de Extremadura are not alarming or difficult to fix after a little use extreme measures to clean up between the human after having had contacts with the animals, and even flora, that is also to be ingested or manipulated may be contaminated.
