The Interprofessional Association of game Meat (ASICCAZA) has received an award for social commitment established with the entity.
‘The charity Project game Meat’ is a joint initiative launched in October 2012 by ASICCAZA based on the donation of game meat to charities and non-profit to be distributed among the most needy. Since then, the initiative has achieved a great response in the sector of hunting that has evolved with the donations in a work deaf but continued of the collective. Thanks to the agreement signed by the Inter-trade with the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) donation of game meat have been able to reach out to all corners of Spain.
This work has wanted to be publicly recognized by the Food Bank of Ciudad Real in the the celebration of its tenth anniversary. The prize was collected by Florencio Rodriguez, president of the Interprofessional, clarified that this award is the collective whole that brings together the sector of game meat, and very specially of those hunters and industrialists who have worked so selflessly in the transfer of significant amounts of game meat, in addition to “ASICCAZA has been in charge of managing this action to get the food to those most in need,” –adds the president of the Interprofessional.
Rodriguez encouraged to continue to collaborate now more than ever. “The hunting season has just started and the meat as a perishable food is usually donated on rare occasions to these charities so that the collective must continue to strive”.
The Inter-trade of game Meat is available to all those who want to collaborate to manage donations, to ensure the quality and food safety of the products and that the ultimate purpose, to help those most in need, get a fast and effective way.
