The game Commission of the Regional Council of Environment of Castilla y León, held a meeting this morning, has informed on the order’s annual hunt. The game Commission, sectoral committee dependent of the Regional Council of Environment of Castilla y León, has informed the order annual of hunting and the resolution laying down the days of hunting for the midseason, which will begin next August 15 and will run until the 17th of September. In terms of the big game, the season montera will run from Sunday 24 September 2017 until Sunday, February 25, 2018, by matching the dates of use in the hunting collective -monterías, whipped or hooks, – both the wild boar as a deer or wolf. In the case of the wolf, any hunting action will require the express authorization of the territorial service of environment of the province. The stalking and aguardos of deer can be done from the 1 of September.
The abundant populations of species of big-game hunting, primarily wild boar, roe deer and deer, throughout the Community, are resulting in timely manner problems of damage to agriculture and ecosystems, having also a significant impact on road safety by outrages of wild fauna.

This collegiate body, whose chair is vested in the director-general of the Natural Environment, José Ángel Arranz Sanz, is formed by the head of the Service of Hunting and Fishing, a representative of the ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, a representative of the ministry of Culture and Tourism, a representative of the General State Administration, a representative of the Federation of Hunting of Castilla y León and a representative of the associations and NGOS of autonomic character, whose objective is the defence of the environment. Also at this session have been invited representatives of the sports clubs of hunters, the Federation of Galgos in Castilla y León, of the rehaleros, producers of hunting, as well as persons of recognized prestige in the field of hunting.
