The Service Nature Protection (Seprona) of the Guardia Civil has filed three complaints and intervened six trophies during the services of prevention of poaching in the province of Ávila, carried out during the last week.
As has informed today a press release the Armed Institute, in this period of time there have been several “acts-allegations” by tenure and possession-of-five-trophies -a deer and four fallow deer – a workshop, without their owner could submit their documentation or authorization proving their legal provenance.
This action adds other focused on the surveillance and control of poaching in the hunting grounds of “The Associate”, within the Natural Reserve of the Valley of Iruelas.
There, thanks to the collaboration of the general public, the agents seized a trophy deer that had just been shot and that lacked the corresponding seal.
In this case, the trophy was gunned down by a person who is doing work of save the light, without which they were enabled to do this.
These interventions have culminated with the intervention of a shotgun that has been deposited at the premises of the Intervention Arms of the Guardia Civil Avila.
Also, the trophies apprehended have been deposited at the offices of the Junta de Castilla y León in Ávila.
The actions undertaken were brought to the knowledge of the Territorial Delegation of the Junta of Castilla and León in Ávila, for an alleged infringement of the Hunting Act of Castilla and León, as well as of the competent authorities in connection with violations of the Law of Private Security.
